Recently, three cases of measles have been confirmed in Orange County, NY. Under New York State law, the measles vaccination is a required immunization to enter school.

I am writing to inform you of a TikTok "challenge" that is circulating locally and nationally. We know students may be tempted to copy what they see on social media, but social media doesn’t always show how dangerous some of these trends can be.

In preparation for the summer months, please click the title link below to access the criteria for this summer’s NECSD Extended School Year (ESY) Program.

With over 675,000 student patrollers participating in more than 35,000 schools across the globe, this program is one of the largest school-based safety efforts, promoting citizenship, leadership, and responsibility among students.

We will only be offering summer school for our current 9th graders (rising 10th graders) and our seniors who require coursework for promotion or graduation.
