From July 7 to August 22, 2025, children and youth up to 18 years old can get free meals this summer at certain NECSD schools, the Newburgh Library, Boys & Girls Club, and Chadwick Lake Park.

This is a friendly reminder that due to the forecasted heatwave and in the interest of student and staff safety, our district will be on a half-day schedule for students in grades Pre K-8 from Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27, 2025.

Due to the upcoming NYS Thruway Authority Meadow Hill Bridge Replacement Project, some school bus routes may be affected beginning Monday, June 16th. New school bus information has been posted on the school district website.

This is a friendly reminder that there is a half-day of school for students in grades Pre-K-6 ONLY on Friday, June 13th and Wednesday, June 18th. The district will also be closed on Thursday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.
