This is a reminder that all schools and district offices are closed on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day. Please take time on Monday to pause and reflect on the life and impact of Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

We know it’s important for girls to SEE WHAT THEY CAN BE, so the curriculum highlights personal life experiences and stories shared by WNBA players from all 12 WNBA teams.

As we begin the second half of the 2024-2025 school year, I want to take a moment to reflect and connect with our community. We recognize that there is much work to be done.

The rich history in Newburgh is key to celebrating Black excellence in our community! In honor of Black History month all students PK-12 are invited to showcase what they research, learn, and know about black history here in Newburgh.

Second grade scholars in Vails Gate STEAM Academy have been studying bugs for their ARC Unit 2. Hudson Highlands Nature Museum visited for Bug Day!

Vails Gate STEAM Academy was elated to share the musical talents of many of our students last week. We started out the evening enjoying the musical accompaniment of our band students.
