Meadow Hill Art Scholars Draw Mural Ideas
Meadow Hill art teacher Mrs. Rachel Williams introduced the book Maybe Something Beautiful to her scholars in grades 2-5. Then the classes looked at many of the murals that are located right here in Newburgh. Mrs. Williams challenged her students to design their own mural for a building in Newburgh. Their completed designs were shared with Mayor Torrance Harvey. He also recorded a special message to share with the students of Meadow Hill. They were so excited to hear his virtual message about how important it is for our youth to express their ideas and share their voices in creative ways.
