Fourth Grade Balmville Scholars Create Animal Adaptations Project

At Balmville School, Mrs Sarita & Mrs Desouza’s 4th grade class conducted a research based project on Animal Adaptations. The animals they researched are all endangered species. Each student wrote an informational essay on their assigned animal and gave a presentation to their peers. Their peers then rated the presentations and asked clarifying questions using a rubric focused on four scoring components; clear speaking voice, eye contact, knowledge on the subject, and body language.
