New Windsor School Scientists Examine and Discuss Fossil Samples
Sharing Science across the district as Ms. Carbone, 6th grade Science teacher from South Middle School collaborated with Ms. Quinci, 4th grade teacher at New Windsor School to captivate scholars in their quest to learn more about fossils.
The room buzzed with excitement as students shared their knowledge of geology and used their observation and inference skills to investigate a fascinating array of fossil samples. These fossils are on loan from Mrs. Greenop, a retired NECSD teacher who continues to support the students of NECSD even after her retirement. The fossils transported the young minds on a captivating journey through time. The interaction not only sparked curiosity but also left an indelible impression on all who were there!
