New Windsor School Students and Families Experience Solar Eclipse
New Windsor School provided our families with Special Sunglasses as well as activities for the Solar Eclipse Event. Our families had so much fun as well as shared what they have learned from the event. Overall, it was an amazing once-in-a-lifetime event! (BTW… The last complete solar eclipse in NY occurred on January 24, 1925… That’s almost a hundred years ago!) We will have to wait until the year 2079 and the year 2144 for the next natural phenomenon to occur!!! We appreciate all of the families who shared their wonderful experiences with our NWS community! NWS will repeat the event in the year 2079 and 2144!
