Horizons on the Hudson Celebrates Student Led Exhibition of Past, Present, and Future of Black History
Horizons on the Hudson students celebrated Black History Month by showcasing an Exhibition of Past, Present, and Future contributors that have paved the way for African Americans in the US. This Exhibition was student led and organized. Students opened the Exhibition with the 5th grade Chorus performing the National African American Anthem - Lift Every Voice and Sing, followed by reciting I have a Dream (by MLK), and When I Rise (By Maya Angelou). The celebration concluded with a Soul Food Lunch for students and 5th grade teachers.
