Kiwanis Club of Newburgh Donates Coats, Hats, and Scarves to NECSD Scholars
Kiwanis International clubs frequently champion the cause of providing warm winter clothing to children and families in need through initiatives like their widely known "Coats for Kids" programs and other winter clothing drives. Recognizing that proper outerwear like coats, hats, and gloves is essential for a child's health and ability to attend school during cold weather, local Kiwanis clubs organize various ways to collect or purchase these items. This dedication to tangible community service highlights the Kiwanis mission of making the world a better place for children, one community at a time.
The Newburgh Enlarged City School District is thankful for our continued partnership with Kiwanis Club of Newburgh and know that our children will be warm this winter thanks to their annual donation of coats, hats, and gloves. We cannot do this work alone and appreciate these collaborative efforts as we support every Goldback, every day!
The Kiwanis Club of Newburgh donates warm winter clothing annually. This year, they generously donated 60 coats and 150 hats and gloves.
