Three NECSD Professionals Honored at 2025 Awards for Excellence

The Mid-Hudson School Study Council's (MHSSC) 2025 Awards for Excellence honored numerous dedicated staff from school districts across the Mid-Hudson Valley, including multiple recipients from individual districts. These awards celebrate the diverse and critical roles played by professionals who demonstrate exemplary commitment and positive impact within their school communities. Three members of our district were honored in the following categories: 

Administration
Mr. Matteo Doddo, Co-Principal, Newburgh Free Academy

Pupil Personnel Services
Ms. Patricia Lofaro, School Counselor at Gidney Avenue Memorial School (GAMS)

Support Staff
Ms. Theresa Cramer, Principal Typist, Human Resources
