Dear SMS Families,
What an incredible past two weeks we have had at South Middle School! From welcoming our vibrant students back through the doors on day one to seeing our hallways and classrooms buzzing with collaborative learning, the energy throughout the building has been truly inspiring.
Highlights from our first two weeks include:
- Establishing strong classroom routines and supportive learning environments across all grade levels.
- Kicking off our fall extracurricular activities and athletics with enthusiasm and great student turnout.
- Hosting engaging community-building sessions that set ambitious goals for the 2026–2027 school year.
A heartfelt thank you to all parents, guardians, and staff for your strong partnership in ensuring a seamless and joyful start. We look forward to building on this great momentum in the coming months!
Reminder: Join us for our monthly Conversation with the Principal every 3rd Wednesday from 7:30am–8:30am. Our October topic will cover Understanding Receivership and our Continuation Plan.
