Newburgh Free Academy Celebrates Scholarship and High Honors Recipients

Newburgh Free Academy hosted a celebration for scholarship recipients and scholars who achieved high honors as a result of their high school career.

 

139 scholarships, given by over 90 sponsors, totaled more than $125,000 for our scholars this year. Also celebrated were our High Honors scholars, those who earned a grade point average above a 89.5. We have nearly 140 scholars in this category, which is more than 20% of our graduating class.
