Milestone Achievement: 105 NFA P-TECH Scholars Earn SUNY Orange Associate’s Degrees
Newburgh Free Academy P-TECH celebrated 22 more scholars who earned their associate’s degree in Cyber Security from SUNY Orange this year, 15 of whom completed both degrees in four years.

Megan Cameron and Roberto Reade were named OCIAA Scholar Athletes (Office of Interscholastic Athletics at Orange-Ulster BOCES). The students were recognized with all scholar athletes from the county.

Brothers Place 1st and 3rd at Section 9 Boys Golf Championship
NFA 10th grader, Mark Yan won the Section 9 Boys Golf Championship. The next closest competitor was six strokes behind. Mark also won the championship last year.

NFA Senior Selected for Prestigious NYS Scholarship
NFA Senior, Matthew Worrell has been awarded the 2022 Vice Chancellor Emerita Adelaide L. Sanford Scholarship from the NYS Department of Education. He is one of two seniors in New York State to receive the award.
