The NFA Debate team competed against some of the best debate schools along the east coast. Every NFA team pairing that competed scored multiple round victories in the event.

NFA West 9th Grade Students "Root for Trees" in Downing Park
9th grade students participated in the second of a series of events in partnership with The Garden Club of Orange and Dutchess Counties. The “Root For Trees” program is designed to support the revitalization effort for Downing Park.

NFA Track & Field Win 16 Medals and Set Meet Record
The NFA Boys Track Team won 16 medals, set one meet record* while running the fastest time in the Nation in the 4X400m Relay during The North Shore Invitational at The New Balance Armory in New York.

NFA Students Participate in On-Site Learning from Beacon to Newburgh!
Beginning the day in Beacon and catching an early morning ferry, students enjoyed being out on the river and hearing their teachers recite the famous Walt Whitman poem, "Crossing Brooklyn Ferry."

NFA West 11th and 12th Grade students tour SUNY Delhi as apart of the W.E.S.T University experience
Students toured the campus, learned about admissions, financial aid, scholarship opportunities and student life. They also learned about various career program options in addition to academic programs and pathways.

The NFA West freshmen class participated in a leaving-to-learn activity at Sportsplex in New Windsor. This idea was spearheaded by Senior Leonardo Guzman. Leo interned at Sportsplex last year.
